7. Share Some Seeds

Like most gardeners, I always end up with more seeds than I can use. There are freebies I've been sent by catalogues or charities or received with magazines; seeds I've collected from plants in my garden; and ends of packets I bought and partly used, but will never finish.



So I started a seed circle on the gardening forum I visit. I packed up all my spare seeds and sent them off to a friend, who will take the ones she wants, add her spares, and send them on to the next person.



The only thing is that I suspect that everyone else will also have more seeds than they can use, which means that everyone will take 2 or 3 packets of seeds and add 10 or 12 packets before sending the parcel on, and the last person in the chain will end up with an awful lot of spare seeds. So if you are planting a field, or know of a community garden which might use a number of random packets of seeds, please let me know!
